In a world full of choices, a Vietnamese boy bravely gave up his dream job in Japan to come to Laos to work at the Cassava Dragon factory. With an open heart and a desire to explore, he touched the heart of a beautiful Lao girl, opening up a love story as beautiful as a dream.
Our predecessors often spoke of “fate,” something mysterious and magical like the clouds drifting in the sky or as deep as the ocean’s depths. Le Dinh Toan, a young man from Ngha An, after a year of living and working in Japan, decided to join Thanh Hưng Group and moved to Laos. He had no idea that he would find love among the friendly, gentle people here.
Khack Sinapha, a woman from Viengthong district, full of dreams and enthusiasm, studied at Ha Tinh University with the hope of one day working in the tourism industry in Viet Nam. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to return to her hometown, temporarily putting her plans on hold.
During his time working at the factory, Toan was the KCS team leader, always full of energy and responsibility. Although he always joked with his friends that he would never marry a Lao woman, one fateful Saturday evening changed everything. When Toan forgot his coat and was freezing, Khack kindly lent him her jacket. That moment sparked a romantic love between two unfamiliar hearts.

Despite facing barriers of language and culture, their love has overcome all challenges. Minor disagreements could not prevent them from realizing how empty life would be without each other. In March 2022, the couple held their engagement and wedding ceremonies in a warm atmosphere, with the blessings of friends and colleagues. On May 19, 2024, they welcomed their first son, named “Victory.” Happiness has filled their lives, a testament to the power of love and the connection between Viet Nam and Laos. The story of Toan and Khack is not only a journey of love but also a symbol of the enduring brotherhood between Viet Nam and Laos, connected by profound human values.
