Lao-Viet Nam International Factory, as its name suggests, has become a symbol of friendship and close cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos. Before being taken over by Thanh Hung Group, the factory was just a small workshop in Sup Khuon village, with a maximum capacity of only 80-100 tons of starch per day. However, since 2019, after synchronous investment in technology and equipment, the factory has officially come into operation, creating a major turning point in the economic development of Khamkeut district.
In the 2023-2024 production season, the factory created jobs for 107 workers, including close coordination between Vietnamese and Lao workers. The factory operates at a capacity of 150 tons of starch per day and has produced 36,072 tons of starch in the past year.
With the investment plan for the 2024-2025 production season, the factory will increase its capacity to 450 tons of starch per day to strive to achieve the production target of 75,000 tons of starch per season, thanks to a modern machinery system and large raw material area. In particular, the factory not only focuses on production but also actively participates in community activities, such as building local roads and supporting charity funds.

With the achievements, 19 officers and employees of the factory were honored with the title of Advanced Workers, and the Board of Directors was commended and rewarded. In addition, the factory has also been awarded many noble titles in production and social volunteer activities from the authorities of Khamkeut district and Boulikhamsay province.
The 2024-2025 production season has begun, and all factory staff are determined to work together and strive to achieve production goals, continuing to light the flame of Viet Nam-Laos friendship, worthy of being the pioneer flag of Thanh Hung Group.
